For me, even as high quality as it was, I have never rewatched the Wimbledon '05 women's final. Ever. |

Justine's loss to Bartoli still makes me queezy.
The Mauresmo one from the year before already made me sour because I thought she could have done that different. And the Antwerp loss to Clijsters in 2003 had me devastated. Thought she could never turn that around and make the extra step to the absolute top. feel better now though. And yes, Ferrero in the 2003 final still ****ing hurts. I remain of firm believe that Roddick's and Juanqui's careers would turn out quite different. (don't get me started on Andy's semi against Nalbandian in hindsight) Safin AO 2002 |

Justine losing to Bartoli, Wimbledon 2007.
Federer losing to Nadal in last year's Wimbledon final. I don't care how great the match was, I never want to see it. And I don't want to read Wertheim's book, even though I like him a lot, but reading about the match that I think of as the beginning of the end- no, thank you. |
