Anyone think Haas has any chance of upsetting Fed??
They've never played on clay but the last two times they were supposed to play in big events, Haas offered up a walkover.

Let's see if Haas takes the court before talking about his chances.

Andy playing late is due to ESPN.

Should be a fun match!

I'm sure you're right.

But why should ESPN get to dictate when a French contender plays a match at the French Open?

Because ESPN is paying beaucoup bucks for the rights to cover the tournament so the FFT needs to throw them a bone or two here and there.

The three remaining Frenchies are all playing the last or second to last match on the show courts. I'm sure ESPN has some say, but if Monfils was the lone remaining Frenchman, I think the FFT would play that match on a schedule that best suited France. I think this is simply a case of a schedule working out for everyone.

I'm just shocked Monfils vs Roddick is not on the main stadium. Monfils vs Roddick is a better match anyway than Haas vs Federer.

I'll be there, with the Horrible French croud, cheering Gaël !!! :bleus:
While you are there, please let out an "Allez, Philipp" for me, Madame. I'll return the favor for a favorite Frenchie of yours at the US Open!

I really want Philipp to win tomorrow. This is such a golden opportunity.
