I wonder if Korolev will have to play doubles with himself since the other two are injured. Actually - anyone know what's wrong with Tursunov?

Both Bryans are out. Mardy Fish has taken their place on the US team.

I know this is a glorified exhibition but Gilles Simon losing to Robin Soderling really bugs me.

Understand why. Gilles has not been able to get consistent results and after Wimbledon, he has a lot of points to defend.

I think Gilles had his best season last year, he is not gong to top it or match it

I guess it's a good result for someone ranked above 1000 playing his first tour-level singles match to get Bolelli to a tiebreak. The kid just turned 18. And a good win for Korolev

Two questions:

1. Who on Earth is S Vovk?

2. Should it be France is tied with Sweden 1-1, then?

Sergey and Evgeny lost the doubles, but 10-4 in the Super TB. I know he was invited to be the hitting partner for Davis Cup last time, but I know little else about him.

Kohlschreiber and Ginepri played two tiebreaks and then PEHK bageled Ginepri in the third
