What do "none played" mean? end of season?

No, it means that those players (Goolagong and Rafter) didn't play any tournaments while ranked #1.

Goolagong was ranked #1 for only 2 weeks.

Goolagong was ranked #1 for only 2 weeks.
And Rafter for only one week, but that doesn't change the fact that neither played a tournament during their very brief reign.

You missed Kafelnikov.

Not that I know for sure whether or not he played a tournament during his 2 (maybe 3?) week stint.

You are right. How did that happen?

I'll add it ASAP.

2 or 4, I think. It was exactly 10 years ago.

That's what I thought.

10 years! Crap I guess I never realized that I've been following tennis for so long.

I know that because he gave a long interview last week and that was mentioned. I freaked. I remember the summer he won RG in 1996, going to Moscow, and there were billboards of him advertising everything everywhere. He's supposed to play Wimbledon and French Seniors, maybe I'll catch him

I hope Yevgeny has been training. Last I saw of him, he was looking really, really, REALLY out of shape. Too much time at the Poker table, perhaps.

Claims he hasn't touched cards in a couple years. He's down to 108 kilos (which is a lot) and wants to lose 20 more.

The whole interview was kind of said except when he talked about his daughter

when i saw that, i immediately assumed that they both retired as soon as they got the #1 ranking lol. "quit while ahead" mentality. if i forrest gumped my way to the top of the pile i may just do so...
