Starace's a good clay court player, but still Ernests should be way ahead of where he is right now.

He has to start doing better in these events so he can get himself seeded at the larger events. Otherwise, he ends up with a competitive second round loss to a high seed. Then, many will say "Oh, but he had a tough draw." I will say "It's his fault he had a tough draw."
