Default Who has the better chance of pulling the upset?
Federer or Roddick?

Discuss.

Are we talking about winning their semi or beating Nadal?

I don't know if Murray is the favorite against Federer in the semis.

Federer has the better chance of winning his semi. Roddick has a better chance of beating Nadal.

Murray HAS to be the favorite against Federer, just as Nadal would be were they to meet in the final.

Federer beating Murray would be an upset, much like Roddick beating Nadal.

Yeah, I just don't see Roger as an underdog, either. He was an underdog with the oddsmakers in Melbourne while Murray was the favorite... And what happened there?

Of course, I'm banking on Murray for the pool and the predictions, so what do I know? Nuthin'.

Fed. And that's one of the strikes against him.

I think both need it more than their SF rivals, definately.

I wouldn't bet one cent on either match, but if I absolutely had to pick who among Roddick and Roger wins his SF, I'd go with Andy.

I agree with some of you above. I don't think Federer beating Murray is much of an upset at all. Especially considering Murray hasn't been 100% healthy and frankly hasn't been playing exceptional tennis this week.

I think Roddick is an underdog and a win by him would be a good upset.

Murray is a great player and if I had to bet my life, I suppose I'd pick him over Fed but a Fed win would not go in the Wow I can't believe it file.

Someone mentioned Fed needed it more. I don't really agree. Fed needs Grand Slams.. period. There's nothing else to prove or enhance his legacy other than perhaps Roland Garros. He was much maligned through 2008 but sure felt pretty good about the U.S. Open victory.

It's been a long time since Federer won a Masters Shield. Maybe it's a personal thing now.

On the other hand, if he breaks this streak, he will be the only person in history to have won IW four times.

I'm sure the Hall of Fame is already ordering a plaque to honor this bit of momentous tennis history.

Rabbit has officially drowned in the Roger Kool-Aid keg.
