I know there have been other threads about Kim's possible return, but I thought this was cool.

Incidentally, Carl Maes, Kim's long time coach, is also dropping hints that she may be coming back.
But I found this quote interesting, particularly in light of the Clijsters/Maes parting, which many said wasn't entirely amicable. Quote might be honest, but isn't what I would call a ringing endorsement of a championship prospect : "What we saw with Martina Hingis and Lindsay Davenport, who came back, is that their best level is probably good enough to win a tournament, and win some matches against the top players," he said. "If she is fully fit then I am sure that her best level would be good enough to be competitive." http://uk.reuters.com/article/tennis...BrandChannel=0 |

I only wish they would let us know whether she'll be playing on the odd or even days of the first couple of rounds at the US. Tickets go on sale in a couple of weeks, and I'd like to make sure I buy for the right days. |
