But there's no international coverage either. deal was made before there was no Sharapova, and Miami is the same, Williams sisters and all

If the tennis is good, I'll love any tournament. Who'da thunk I'd be all over a Dokic/Kleybanova match, but it was cracking. That said, I have no basis for knowing as I couldn't see a damn minute of it til about an hour ago.
I'd rather watch a good, competitive match any day over an early round drubbing by Serena or Venus - sorry but I don't find that entertaining, especially when the outcome is usually a given.

Coverage is even more miserable in Europe. Live coverage is women only and so far has consisted of no more than two matches a day. Some tape delayed men's matches on a local sports channel and that's all...

Of course there are some live streams, but...
Speak for yourself. My Russian channel is showing 12 hours of live tennis nightly. I guess Latvia should have stayed in the USSR

When will the Russians become MAC compatible? I was watching their coverage earlier today but had to use the PC. I may use them later as well.

I don't know about MACs (it's your own fault for using it ) but they've improved their quality tremendously, the time lag has become minimal. And they've gone to much much better quality on other channels as a test and will soon add the tennis channel to that, but it'll use more of your bandwidth. Not showing women till tomorrow, though

But you have to pay for it and it requires a better connection than I have here... Eurosport player works great, but unfortunately it's only women...

Well, if I were in Russia, it would just be on TV on a pay-for channel. Eurosport player costs money too (at least here). but I don't need to watch the women, really.

Sure, but it is cheap (5 euros/month).

slam coverage is awesome! five different courts, great quality, no commentary. Unfortunatly, they dont have the rights for Wimbledon, though...
