both Kanepi and Kirilenko are on the entry list, but not in the draw. sucks for my arount the world team...
I'm scared to look to see how my team was affected by the "real" draw.

EDIT: Just lost two, and one of them was from a trade this week, so I can still undo that. Not too bad, maybe I will wind up with Venus on the team anyways (her and Benesova are the only seeds I don't have.)

The draw only lists 6 seeds...is Garbin (and someone else) seeded?

She's on a mission, patrick...

To find new and more demoralizing ways to lose matches.
she did...6:1, 5:7, 2:6 against Greta Arn.

What on earth is wrong with Agnes? I remember USO & Beijing 2007, she looked like a future top 10 ten-player, but since then? her last really good result I remember was the final in Paris last year...It is pretty sad, isnt it?

She's really gone way down since I've stopped writing poetry to her failures.

I don't expect Venus to win a round in this tourney, but it'd be nice for her to use this to get some clay prep before the clay season..I guess *shrugs*

She must have gotten a nice appearance fee

I see some fairly good players in this field, though, so that's nice

Maybe that's what helped push her to even more failure

That run in 2007 may have been a fluke

Have you ever seen a challenger level player (and she is no more at the moment) suddenly play like a top 10-15 player for half a year? I don't think I have...

P.S. There have been some one tournament wonders (Stevenson, Fernandez), but that's different.
