I would have said Venus before the draw. Now I say Serena.

Oh JUST STOP!

We all know full well that Venus Williams will NEVER win Melbourne. It would be like asking Mel Gibson to dance in a thong in a gay bar. It ain't NEVER gonna happen. So let's just stop talking about it as if it's some faint possibility! Because it gets those of us who are already on the edge of psychosis wondering about "What if?'s", which is too taxing on the nerves... And the disappointment is crushing... Personally, the disappointment makes me want to hit small children and little old ladies... And that's just not nice.

So please... Everyone... Exercise some restraint for those of us who are nutty, feeble-minded, prone to imagination, and complete and utter hardcore Venuts! We already have a tough enough time as it is...

It's Jelena, Dinara or Elena. I'm convinced that the winner of this year's Aussie is a first time Slam winner. I picked Jelena, only because I think she's the one that wants it the most.

I don't know how any of you can pick anything but the last option. The WTA needs to be renamed the WTF!

It's an odd-numbered year - Serena wins.

Hear hear!

The only problem is that I'm not sure the ATP is really all that much better off, given the current climate.

At least there's 4 solid top players in the ATP. You don't have that in the WTA.

True dat.

I love the fact that it's all so uncertain. On both sides. And the AO usually produces some surprises... Tsonga, Zuluaga, Grosjean, Clement... Just to name a few...

Like I said... I love it.
