Another great night of tennis!

Go Serena! If you let Kuznetsova win this.......I wish I could say I'll never forgive you!

And Tsonga....send Hot Sauce home to his Brazilian model, I want to see you in the finals again!

Oh Rafa and Simon....I can't say anything about this match. If they both bring it, it is going to be explosive!

There are some great matchup tonights! And CNS isn't one of them. Elena will make mincemeat of her!

I only hope that she does it quickly, so I can watch Serena before I have to go to class.

It's only been four days and three countries since my last all-nighter, I think it's time for another one!

Unless Sveta - Serena is one sided in the way I don't want.

Me too!

I like Tsonga, but Verdasco is one of my lefties, so that takes precedence.

But, either way, I won't complain...

...too much.

I like them both too, but I feel obligated to cheer for Verdasco because I've given up on him over the past couple of years and have only been watching him for... my viewing pleasure. Now that he's decided to use his brain and is delivering on his talent, I feel I owe him an apology

Speaking of apologies, I may owe one to Dementieva, should she win this event. I have been pretty steadfast in my assertion that not only is she not the best player to never win a major but, in fact, would never win a major.

But that was because of the serve. It's all different now.

LOL! Me too, but I don't want to "accidently" fall asleep. But you know how Elena can cause problems for herself!

Serena is really going to need to win the first set.
Yes. Her last game against Elena left a lot to be desired. But Elena's been struggling with her serve and Serena will pounce on that.

Oddly enough...I am really looking forward to this match. It has the potential to be an all nighter, a nail biter, a scream....And Verdasco has never really interested me that much...he's always been on the "outer perimeter" of tennis for me...one of those lazy players, never quite doing enough to win, only enough to .....be able to play some tennis. But his coming out here at the Australian Open....Wow. It's pretty good!

Simon, Tsonga, Elena and Sveta is my choice.

Rafa, Tsonga, Elena and Serena is the most likely outcome.

You are talking about against Sveta, right? Because Serena has won the first set against Elena 2 out of 3 of the last meetings and still lost.

Oh Foxy! That was my mistake! I barged ahead thinking of a Serena / Elena semifinal

Personally, I don't think Serena needs to worry against Kuzzy. First set or no, Serena is more than capable of digging herself out of any trouble with Kuznetsova who has been struggling the who tournament with crappy play.

That is quite a pair of smilies.

Missin, Verdasco's actually always worked pretty hard on the practice court and in the gym outside his matches, his mind just went AWOL during them. I've said before I watched him practice for the first time about a year and a half ago and he was amazing in practice. I wouldn't call him lazy

But I am hoping Sveta can show up and prove everyone wrong... she is capable of doing that once in like 3 years...
