That's horrible news for Kolya.

I hope he recovers soon.

Poor Kolya...his life seemed to flow more smoothly when he dwelled in obscurity.

I said this in chat the other night, Davydenko has taken so much from tennis but given back so little to the it. He is the rare elite athlete who actually makes a sport more compelling by his absense.
I don't really agree but

well I agree with Miles.

I mean, will we really miss Kolya ? Are you going to think, where is Kolya ? I wanted him to win ?

Come On !

And this is really great for Del Potro to be in the best 8.

So well too bad for Kolya.

I am really sorry, Charlie Maybe Petrova can salvage the Open for you?

Oh, and I am going to miss Davydenko. I like watching him play and I am hoping for a speedy recovery.

This is the first Slam Davy will miss in how long? He may not be Mr. Excitement but when you hit the quarters and semi's who is there? With all the stress he's had over the last year I guess this is his body's way of telling him "no mas" and to rest for awhile.

He should still be able to hold to No. 5 after AO, and maybe even until IW, shouldn't he? He's well ahead of Simon, and doesn't have much to defend...

That depends on who do you mean by "we". He has his fair share of fans, so some of us will.
