AO is almost always the best tournament. In the middle of the winter and after the off-season. The last three years have also all had great stories going into the men's finals. 2006--the emergence of Baghdatis and his crowd-stirring emotions 2007--Gonzalez playing sublime tennis (ridiculous winner/UFE ratios at least three matches in a row) to get to the finals 2008--the emergence of Tsonga as a top player |

Thought about it for a while, and picked Miami. Lotta cool stuff went down there. (I almost picked 'other' and said Cincinatti. ) |

I think all the people who are picking Wimbledon are picking Wimbledon because it was the Slam where Nole got eliminated the earliest. AO is almost always the best tournament. In the middle of the winter and after the off-season. And yes, Miami is also a good choice. |

Gotta go with Wimbledon here. It had so many good storylines, and so many good matches.
Safin taking out Djokovic and making a mini-renaissance to make the semis Clement and Schuettler battling it out for a place in the last grand slam semis of their careers Zheng crushing Ivanovic and riding the momentum to the semis Kudryavtseva getting mad at Sharapova's attire and beating her because of it Safina giving her all despite an injury against Peer The Williams sisters dominating after a poor showing at Roland Garros And of course, THE match. |
