Agreed. That's my thinking. I could bring in the creepy hubby but I don't want to play it like that. I just don't want to watch someone play their first match in a year. James Blake loves to joke about getting Hopman partners who never lose. Welcome to the other side, James.

Gotta be an awful bad injury. Hopman's still over 3 weeks away.

Other sources are saying it's hamstring, not thigh. The injury occurred at Doha during the YEC, and while she is pulling out of Hopman, she expects to be fully recovered for the Aussie.

She better be! Im not flying 15 hours for nothing!! LOL!! I think I jinxed her though, just the other day I was talking to junior saying how great it would be this coming year if both her and Venus played well and not be injured... and now this!! bleh.

Not sure what being an exo has to do with however Meghann plays. I plan on being as into this tournament as I always am. And that means I want a sweet field. Jill or Bethanie or even Melanie with James? I could root for that.

Meghann played with James in Hopman Cup XVII - and won at least one tie. It was on Tennis Channel this morning - they lost the Mixed Dubs but won the tie.

That was the year that James was fresh back on the tour after his really bad year off the tour.
