Fernando with the warmest words of Stefanki (on Nov 19)

http://www.gonzaleztenis.com/noticia_stefanki.php

I'm hoping Stefanki just asked him to not publicize the Roddick part, but he talks about what a great oppty it will be for Larry to develop tennis in his country.

Either way, it kind of look like USTA might be paying for Roddick's coach
I know that the USTA would not pay for Roddick's coaching at this stage of his career.

I would love to have heard Gonzo's real reaction when he discovered the truth.

I think Andy is as good as he'll ever be. The last good forehand I saw from him was in the El Anouyi match in australia that saved him a match point. That was years and years ago. Maybe this will keep him top 10 but he's not winning any tournaments that Fed, Rafa, Nole, Murray, Del Potro, or Tsonga are in.

Didn't he win one this year?

Probably an exception, but still...

So, basically, Andy stole Fernando's coach out from under him.

Just like Fernando stole a point from James Blake at the Olympics.

What goes around, comes around.

Gonzo can now go back to decapitating the fat cats sitting behind the baseline with his forehand again.
