She's playing by the rules. She played enough to get enough points. It's up to the WTA to change the rules no? |

It should be a requirement that you win at least one tournament in a year to be a part of this lineup. Switching player focuses, I'd also like to make it a requirement that you're not allowed to cry during and/or after your inevitable loss(es). |

I'd like it to be a requirement that, if you KNOW you'd lose anyway, to please lose all of your round robin matches so that you're not allowed to stink up the final. |

There will be two alternates at the Sony Ericsson WTA Championships in Doha next week, Aggie Radwanska and Flavia Pennetta. The injured woman who is ninth in the race, Maria Sharapova, will not go to do promotional activities, and since she cannot play anyway if someone got hurt, there was really no reason to ask her. It still is a sport, no, where alternates need to be able to alternate on court?

Not in the race, but she could still catch Flavia this week. Nadia must have decided not to go. Probably the right decision - highly unlikely that she would get to play... |
