SURFACE: ACRYLIC ON WOOD
Has any tournament ever been played on a hardwood gymnasium floor? I think it'd be kinda awesome.

I don't know about any tournament, but I played on it before with my first tennis lesson group back in Russia. We played on a lot of weird and crappy surfaces such as old n bumpy asphalt outdoors..

When the Slams were still (sh)amateur-only events, the pro barnstorming tour sometimes played on wood floors in gyms, etc. It was apparently lightning-quick. Bounces were more regular than grass, but apparently the ball skidded and stayed very low.

It's confirmed on the official site that Gonzo is out. Gael moves up to take the #16 seed, and Tipsy gets entry into the main draw.

great....PEHK gets to play his 0-8 nemesis! Felciano v. Tipsy in a first rounder, that's some serious eye candy for anyone there for first round matches.

Dang. Del Potro is in Nalby's group. I'm not even sure Nalby will get past the Karlovic/Kiefer winner.

I'd love to see a Djokovic/Tsonga rematch.

PEHK has to beat him sometime!

Rafa's draw is competitive. Murray!

Fed-Djoko other side. Hmmm.
