Oudin takes out Bammer 7-5 in the 3rd. Nice!
A young'un making noise. Oudin is another one of the American juniors people are talking about.

Our live score is showing Bammer 7-5 in the third.

Weird. And the Quebec site says nothing. I'm inclined (and frankly want) to believe livescore.com because they followed the match. The TAT one was blank throughout. But ya never know.

Second seed Bammer bounced in Quebec WTA event

QUEBEC, Canada (AFP) — American Melanie Oudin upset Austrian second seed Sybille Bammer 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 here Monday in a first-round match at the 175,000-dollar WTA Quebec Challenge.

Oudin cut short Bammer's bid for her second career WTA title and advanced to face the winner of a later match between Canadian wild card Marie-Eve Pelletier and Russian Olga Puchkova in the second round.

Bammer reached her first Grand Slam quarterfinal last month at the US Open and also reached the final eight at the Beijing Olympics in August.

But Bammer, 28, has struggled since her New York run. She was ousted in the second round last month at Stuttgart and the first round earlier this month in Zurich before her rally against Oudin fell short.

In other first-round matches, Canadian wild card Valerie Tetreault defeated France's Mathilde Johansson 6-1, 7-5 and American Julie Ditty downed Poland's Urszula Radwanska 7-6 (7/1), 6-2.

I guess a 1-2 record for Canadian wild cards is pretty much more than we should expect

NO!!! So frustrating following Lisicki. Hope she gets herself some consistency next year.
