I think the sqard for some teams are:

FRANCE:

  • Starters: Bartoli, Cornet, Golovin, Loit
  • Substitutes: Parmentier, Pierce, Mauresmo, Razzano, Beltrame-Bremond, Foretz, Cohen-Aloro, Rezai, Pin, Fedossova
  • Suspension: Dechy (2 years)

RUSSIA:

  • Starters: Kuznetsova, Zvonareva, Vesnina, Dementieva
  • Substitutes: Sharapova, Kirilenko, Petrova (she just finished her suspension period), Makarova, Safina, Likhovtseva, Bovina, Chakvetadze, Kournikova (absent), Myskina (absent), Voskoboeva, Rodionova, Dushevina

CZECH REPUBLIC

  • Starters: Vaidisova, Safarova, Koukalova-Zakopalova, Kvitova
  • Substitutes: Zahlavova Strycova, Voracova, Ondraskova, Cetkovska, Kleinova, Sromova, Birnerova, Uhlirova
  • Suspension: Benesova (2 years)

ITALY

  • Starters: Pennetta, Santangelo, Vinci, Knapp
  • Substitutes: Errani, Garbin, Camerin, Brianti, Vierin
  • Suspension: Schiavone (1 year)

USA

  • Starters: Davenport, S. Williams, Shaughnessy, Tu
  • Substitues: V. Williams, Mattek, Harkleroad, Haynes, Craybas, Osterloh, Stevenson, Granville, Rubin, Glatch, Gullickson, Washington, Jackson
  • Suspension: Raymond, King (both 1 year)

Spain:

  • Starters: Llagostera Vives, Ruano Pascual, Suarez Navarro, Dominguez Lino
  • Substitutes: Martinez Sanchez, Marrero, Pous Tio
  • Suspension: Medina Garrigues (1 year, because she lost the critical match when her team was falling behing with their opponents 0-2)

What do you think?

This shows how much I pay attention to Fed Cup. What are all those suspensions about?

Also, if Davenport plays, will she be allowed to use a prosthetic leg? I'm sure Jill will let Davenport borrow hers.

Above is PierceCheng's proposal, it does not reflect real line-ups.

Wow, like a good press release from the Republican National Committee, it is presented as fact and I bought it!

PierceCheng, with her recent win in the Brno challenger in the Czech Republic where she was playing on Czech TV and the like, and since she's the only Czech ever to make the finals of the Prague WTA tournament, don't you think that Ondraskova deserves a starting spot on the Czech team, especially over Kvitova?

This suspensions for some players when they lost the critical match or last deciding match.

I can't wait for the day when I read here that the Serbian team has "suspended" Ivanovic or Jankovic.

I don't care about this.

Otherwise, I added the list for Russia & Spain.
