I know the money and the TV audience kinda sorta dictated that Nole/Andy be the night match tonight. But I'm wondering if, after watching how the hot conditions and the sun were clearly taking a toll on Novak on Tuesday, and with Roddick relatively fresh following his win, if Roddick's people gave any thought whatsoever to asking the USTA about getting the day match. I know if I'm Andy and his team, I want every possible advantage going into the match, and I think Andy would benefit by the weather, and by getting Nole on court as sooner rather than later in the day.

First, I wish to thank USA for trying to start my day with repeats of the Nadal and Serena wins. Delightful.
In addition to the Kimmel commercials, I would also like to add that I so much deeply hate, hate, hate, hate, HATE!!!!!!!!! those freakin' Terminator, Faux-Shatner (and other HILARIOUS!!!! impersonations) and that where-those-folks-carry-around-their-dollar-figures-for-what-they-need-to-retire-while-that-insipid-dum-dee-dum-dee-dum-dee-dum-music-plays-on-and-on-and-on-and-ON commercials. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! |
