I think Andy in 4. He's been playing great and I have to assume Djokovic has some problems after the show off against Robredo.

Moose, how could you forget Novak was in the FINAL last year?
Now maybe you understand why I usually go to bed at 10:30 during the week. It's because my brain closes early.

roddick probably just added some fuel to thefire after making some of these quotes after his win in the last round.

Someone should tell Andy that this was about as stupid a move as he could have possibly made. I don't think p.o.'ing your opponent before you play him is the right thing to do at this point in the tourney. And any humor value got lost when he went on and on and on about Nole's medical stuff.

I will say, I appreciate Andy reminding me why it is I dislike him just as he was starting to endear himself again.

Personally, I was laughing my butt off. The press wouldn't let it go so Andy got funky. I don't think his attitude was any different than Novak's and the fact is....they asked him if Novak was bluffing and Andy said no, if you got it, you got it but they still wouldn't let it go. Novak was the same way (he is such a drama king) and said if he wanted to really talk about everything that was wrong, they could talk until tomorrow or somethng to that degrees.

I think that Novak was giving the impression that....he was going to be this hurting ailing old man when he met Roddick and Roddick was basically letting the press know that he fully expects Novak to come out with everything he's got.

And because they didn't show the whole presser.....everything needs to be taken with a grain of salt. And if Novak makes fun of his .......whatever (is wrong with his body, the multiple things that are wrong) then....he is fair game whenever anyone else gets asked those kind of questions in their pressers. If Novak was serious.....I doubt that....other players would be taking a poke at him. Reference Jelena Jankovic here.....

Remember how very exhausted Del Potro was during his match with Andy? Andy was very very respectful (and he is basically a mouthy arse) after the match and didn't jab at all. You could see how serious the exhaustion was for Del Potro. And Del Potro didn't treat his exhaustion lightly either. How players act...lends a hand to how others react to them.

And regarding the press....remember when Elena gave an interview about the Williams Sisters and her statement "its going to be a family affair for sure?" and the press took it all out of joint....

I don't think Andy was being disrespectful. I think he was just handling a bunch of questions that he didn't want to be bothered with .....in a manner that would amuse those asking the questions. In other words...give them what they want and get this over with. If he was serious...they'd keep questioning and questioning until he said something they could have printed that would create some sensation.

Wow, as I type this, the results are Andy 18 - Novak 12.
I have to say Novak's #12 was mine: Whatever ails him (or even more if nothing does), Novak wants this badly, and he'll figure out how to exploit Andy's weaknesses. One thing is blowing Santoro off the court with your serve, another is doing it against Novak in the semifinals of a tournament where he has everything to win. So Novak in 4.

Provided that Andy continues to play the way he has been, and Novak does the same, I think Andy should win fairly easily, relatively speaking against a top player. If he stops being aggressive and settles for playing defensively, he's toast. But I'll say Andy in 4.

If you haven't gotten your notice in the mail yet (it takes a while to get here from Serbia) - Dunlop has disowned you and is suing you for tennis ball abuse and exploitation.
