Ashley Harkleroad Pregnant
FRIDAY, AUG 29. - American player and playmate Ashley Harkleroad didn’t pull out of the US Open with a back injury, but because she is pregnant, the Fed Cup heroine confirmed to the WTA on Friday. Harkleroad, who lives with her boyfriend and coach former ATP pro Chuck Adams in L.A., is believed to be at least six weeks pregnant. Her last event was Los Angeles at the end of the July, around the same time that she became the first tennis player to appear on the cover of Playboy, for which she was paid an estimated $250,000. The 23-year-old, who had to undergo emergency surgery to remove one of her ovaries back in April, is said to be thrilled. http://www.tennisreporters.net/index.html FYI: Adams is 37 |

My first thought, (though I confess to little knowledge of gynocological issues), was exactly that. Shouldn't it be a lot more difficult, and a lot more risky to get pregnant with only one ovary? I just hope she'll be okay. |

A lot more difficult, yes. I don't know what was wrong with her ovary. But since the uterus houses the embryo, I don't know if only having one ovary is risky issue for pregnancy. I hope the best for her. If she's happy, then that's all that matters The boyfriend's age isn't an issue for me either. |

Poor Ashley's kid. Imagine Anastasia coming to visit for a few weeks. You know she's running the gloved finger over the coffee table to check for dust. Ashley seemed desperate to have a child in one of her post-surgery interviews, so, congratulations to her. Wonder if she plans to return to the tour |

LOL. Amazingly, Myskina is said to be one of the most pleasant and caring people off-court |

Speak of the devil, Myskina is in New York as a journalist. I just realized she must have been one of the commentators for Dinara's match today. I couldn't tell who it was because I wasn't expecting her.
