Hopefully someday, Madame, you will save enough Euros to come join us in New York for the Open, and our Tailgate. It is so enjoyable to get to spend a few days with some of the many wonderful people that make up our community.

Amelie was wonderful in her on-court interview following her win over Coin (we got to see the end of the 2nd set). She threw her tennis balls into the stand instead of hitting them, and the one she threw in our direction landed just two rows short of Scotty and I.

You have to wait til Wednesday or Thursday (most likely) for my blog, but I will do one. Promise. But you need to get Aedra and Scotty and GV and mmmm8 to get their pictures posted, because they have all the good ones.

Between the US Open, my USTA duties, my pre-schooler, my hubby, my parents and everything else I don't think I'll do a "TAT Tailgate" blog until Wednesday when I have a break as my Rafaboy starts school and it's the only day that I will not be attending the US Open.

I do have some shots of Amelie for you Madame.

I know it's too early to say this but US Open TAT Tailgate in '09 will be Saturday, August 29th. Mark your calendars! Also a "shameless plug" for a Miami Tailgate- Date TBD.

Sorry for the tangent-back to our regular thread!

Gael just broke Mardy to lead 4-3 as he rifled a FH passing shot by Mardy. Earlier, he had 2 BH passing shots.

both Gael and Mardy have creative, flaky games, yes.

But Flamboyant? That's a stretch for Monfils, and completley inaccurate for Fish.
