NBC will be smiling all weekend as they got a Williams final on Saturday and assuming Nadal have an easy practice tomorrow, they will have a Rafa vs Roger/Marat winner on Sunday. And, if the Williams Sisters defeat Dechy/Dellacqua tomorrow, NBC will be throwing a big brunch party on Sunday as they will be facing Black/Huber-Raymond/Stosur winner.

Glad they're smiling, they've ruined the live tennis experience for everyone on the west coast. This week has been awful.

Tell me about it. I gave up on them completely for this event and started using Wimbledon Live exclusively. I'm glad I won't have to deal with NBC's tennis coverage anytime too soon (until Indianapolis, right?).

That's CBS.

I think you won't have to deal with them until RG '09 .

Hmm, not in Seattle it's not. Or did CBS buy it for this year?

Or maybe it's just Indy that's NBC? I think CBS has most all of the US Open Series.

Sing out, sisters!

I wanna get all Norma Rae on them: climb up on their conference table and hold up a big sign that says "WEST COAST"

What should be the over/under for games won by Schuetler in tomorrow's match?

I say 5.

And I'm not kidding.

Isn't that being generous?

Now watch. Now that I've said that, it'll probably be a Wimbledon classic.

I think there will be one tight set (first or second).

My random guess would be 6-3, 6-4 (or even 7-5), 6-2.

Of course, it's now going to be 6-1 6-0 6-1

I'll probably just watch on Wimbledon Live anyway, but I am very confused about TV coverage tomorrow. Fed-Safin are up first, but I saw a commercial on ESPN2 saying they'll be covering Nadal's match starting at 7 am ET. What the??

If ESPN2 is broadcasting live like the TV listings say, they have to do Fed-Safin don't they? Or will they just cover the Williams' doubles match and then air junk until it's time for NBC to play their tape-delayed coverage of Fed-Safin?

In the past there have been instances where ESPN2 did not have rights to the first match. In that event, they usually talk the whole time and show replays, reminding you to check the scores online or wait for NBC, until their semifinal takes the court.

Which is most likely what will happen tomorrow.
