I voted for Marat in 4.

But I'll tell you what... If Marat wins this match, I firmly believe he CAN beat Federer in the semis. I really do. It's not likely, but it's within the realm of possibility. Which is why I bit the bullet in the suicide pool and picked the Schuettler/Clement match.

Call me insane. And you'd probably be right.
Speak of the one of The Prophecy do you? He who comes back to life every few years to beat in semis the Omnipresent One?

Call us insane.
Because I picked Schuettler because in some short circuited part of my brain I have this fog that says that Marat could beat FLo, then Roger, then Rafa, lift the trophy, and retire like Pete: the title holder of the most important tournament.
My friends tell me thoughts like this prove I have never needed drugs to reach altered states.
But for this match. I trully have no clue who will win. So I didn't vote.

The difference here is Safin's far superior return of serve and stability from the baseline. I agree that when his returns are really working for him, he very well could upset Federer

I picked Lopez in 4. I keep expecting Marat's game to go cold again. I hope I'm wrong.

It's odd. You, me and everyone else who picked Feliciano picked him to win in 4. And Marat's got picks for 3, 4, and 5.

This match is giving me the green apple two-step.

Marat in 5. Feli will play well for the first couple of sets but then Marat will start to dominate.

But of course, then Roger will win in the semis, get a boost in confidence, and go on to beat crowd favorite Murray in the finals

I don't know if I call it a resusication...he has these deeps runs every now and then, don't think he'll be consistently a top player again because of it. He's definitely dangerous.

I picked Safin in 4. I would've been taking Safin if I was alive in SP...if I was I may have voted for F-lo (see contest schziophrenia.)

And I have Baggy in predicitons too...wonder if he'll find some way to get a win here!
