Recently Tony Trabert, President of the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum, introduced the names of the 12 poll nominees for feasible Hall of Fame induction in July 2010. Headlining the 2010 poll are Current Participant nominees: the group of two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and 1-7 Grand Slam Name Owner Beatriz 'Gigi' Fernandez and 18 Grand Slam Name Owner Natasha Zvereva; Increases Stories Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde; and world rated No. 1 increases participant for 1-10 months, Anders Jarryd. Called to the ballot within the Master Player class are: individual Grand Slam champion Owen Davidson, Bob Lutz and increases a-listers Peter Fleming. Called on the ballot in the Contributor class are four nominees: wheelchair tennis leader Brad Parks; one of tennis' many important training numbers Nick Bollettieri; inventor of open tennis as chairman of the Lawn Tennis Association Derek Hardwick; and Japan's Eiichi Kawatei, for his exemplary authority and commitment in the development and marketing of tennis in Asia. 'On account of the Board of Directors and the Enshrinee Nominating Committee of the International Tennis Hall of Fame, I'm honored to announce the poll for 2010,' mentioned Tony Trabert, ITHF President and 1970 Hall of Famer. 'Quite coincidentally, we appear to have an all-doubles' Recent Player standing with Gigi Fernandez and Natasha Zvereva, 'The Woodies' Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde, and Anders Jarryd. I am unable to remember the last time increases people dominated the ballot for nomination to the Hall of Fame. Also, well-deserved nominations received to Owen Davidson, Peter Fleming and Bob Lutz in the Master Player category; as the efforts of Nick Bollettieri, Derek Hardwick, Brad Parks, and Eiichi Kawatei towards the game of football can't move over looked.' Voting for that 2010 poll will require place within the next many months leading to the statement of the state 2010 induction course in January, 2010.
