Is this a statement or a thought of some kind?

Some of us don't define the entire war on terror by what goes on in Gaza. Hamas, bad as they are are somewhat contained and even predictable to a degree. Hamas is not making strikes on the London underground or in Madrid and they don't at present kill 50 to 100 people at a time like some of the sectarian attacks in Iraq.

That said, no, I don't think anything much has been done to disrupt the recruiting and training network within Hamas.

I'm not sure what studying Arabic has to do with anything. There is a difference between a devoted Catholic speaking perfect Latin and actively working to bring back the Inquisition in order to return to the "glory" of the "old days".

I am glad to see that it is the effectiveness of terrorists that defines your opinion of them. As long as only a few people here or there are being killed, and a few thousand or tens of thousands inconvienenced by thousands of predictable rockets, you know, it isn't so bad. But if you would like to clarify your position, please do, so the conclusions I draw are given ample opportunity for you to show how they are wrong.

It wouldn't suit their purposes to kill people under Ken Livingstone's auspices in London. They might as well bomb Mecca if they do that.
