Default Time for Israel to turn the tables
So many jew-haters (whoops, I meant "anti-zionists") curse Israel for not following the various international conventions to the "T."

Why doesn't Israel bring full political pressure to bear on Hamas, who is the legally and duly elected government of Gaza, for not allowing Red Cross visitations for Gilad Schalit?

Why doesn't Israel sue Hamas in the ICC for firing rockets into civilian areas, a clear violation of the Geneva conventions for which Israel is so tightly held to by so many, particularly in Europe?

Why does Israel give political passes to its enemies, when it so often has the opportunity to turn public awareness against the terrorists and their supporters?
Because we have decided not to just let all of the inhabitants of Gaza die by cutting them off from the essentials that they can't live without, we will keep the uncomfortable status quo going until the oil weapon our enemies use is no longer a factor.

My prediction is that if we hold our own, we and the rest of the middle east goes out of the news in 20 years time. I hope we'll only be known in the future for tourism and medical breakthroughs.
