Default Airport security. Not so secure.
Recent reports show that LA & O'Hare airports, two of America's busiest airports failed to find most of the dangerous stuff (simulated explosives, bomb parts) LA missed 75% and O'Hare 60%. I heard of similarly depressing reports about other international airports in the UK and other European countries. Then to add more absurdity to the mix the precautions taken by airport security can cause long queues, which if targeted would have irony meters the world over in need of repairs. Is it now just security theatre and everyone's going along because it's the only show in town?

Ergo it's all pointless. Over at the University of Carbomb's online school they've already deleted the 'sneak on to airplanes and crash them' page from the curriculum.
