Now that the dust has settled (hopefully), we can see that, once again, history proves that appeasement of evil forces brings nothing but more death and destruction.
So long as European hypocrisy and appeasement persist, they will continue to be the victims of Muslim terrorism. As usual, Europe will need the U.S. to pull it out of the bloody mess that European leadership's hypocrisy and cowardice has caused. |

Thanks for the update. It doesn't appear to be a controlled explosion at all.
http://www.lasvegassun.com/sunbin/st...040301157.html The special forces agent who was killed and the police officers who were injured are yet more victims of terrorism. The only positive thing is that most likely three terrorists killed themselves in this blast. Edit: another later story: http://www.afp.com/english/newsml/st....69a57tow.html |

I found this plum which I think is apt
Multiculturalism is not about ethnic diversity, linguistic pluralism, faith schools or culinary variety. It is certainly not, as is often assumed, an enlightened approach to running a multi-ethnic society. Multiculturalism is an official response to the identity crisis within Western society, brought about by the collapse of common values, national institutions and traditional political solidarities. It attempts to provide a positive cultural sheen to this crisis, re-presenting the lack of common identity as a new cultural pluralism, and the fragmentation of communities as an enriching kind of diversity. The official promotion of multicultural codes and policies weaves the notions of multiculturalism into everyday life and politics. By refusing to allow claims that any one culture is superior to any other, by carefully allocating resources to community projects engaged in entirely different, and often contradictory, activities, and by encouraging members of society to take pride in their different beliefs and identities, multiculturalism pretends that the hole at the heart of Western culture is in fact something positive and enriching. http://www.spiked-online.com/articles/0000000CA4C5.htm |
