Are you one of those because #1 mentions discussions that take place after acts of terrorism; about what has to be done, what course has to be taken, how to respond and so on. This is the basics, everything else can be explained back to the initiating repeated argument.

Let me tell you something serdar, people of democratic countries are sober. They have bills to pay, dishes to do, have to watch tonight's soccer finale and are still planning to build that pool near the house. They don't want to spend their precious time in understanding what is happening on the other side of the world. So they don't want to hear about it, especially when it's news that troubles them. They don't want to go to war before war has come to them, so the leftists always have home advantage in a democratic country.
And while a leftist worries about what will happen if we do something, I rather worry about what will happen if we don't do something.

Not all leftists are the same. Some are principled decent and honest, the same is true for some rightists.

There is however a breed of "leftist" who just wear the cloak of leftism but in fact they are either misguided or are just opportunists who have their own selfish agendas. Unfortunately this breed has managed to spread itself quite widely. One cannot argue with this breed because:

• They advocate idealism but only so long as their idealism affects other people. They soon give up such notions if it affects them and theirs personally.
• They accept their own ideology as a matter of faith and dogma. They don't let the facts, reality and common sense to stand in the way of their fiction.
• They try to take the high moral ground but they get dumb founded as soon as their protagonists too acknowledge the need for morals but not just in a "one sided way"
• They like to preach but they wear blind folds and block their ears. They don't want to see the real world as it is nor do they want to listen to anyone who does not reinforce their own misconceptions.

It's not a case by case thing. It's generational. Even my 18 yo tells me that the future is doomed if his generation is in charge. Because as much as we screwed up, we at least tried. They're just lazy indifferent slackers who can't be bothered to dole out a cup of coffee at normal speed. Look around. Jobs aren't going to Injya because they're cheaper, they're going there because they actually do it. Left, right, makes no difference. Everyone is a useless speed bump, dull, incurious, vacuous, indifferent, lazy, inaccurate, vain. Of course protesting in the brickyard is fashionable. What the hell else are they going to do? Crack a book?

(At NC State [GO WUFPACK!!!!] one of the premier public universities in the country for engineering, science, agronomics, veterinary, etc... the AVERAGE incoming Freshman will spend 5.5 years graduating. 30% of the class takes 4 years, 67% takes 5 years.)

UNC Greensboro - again, a premier small public university for fine arts and performing arts, the average undergrad takes 5.5 - 6 years.
