This was all over the Danish news cycles yesterday and just starting to hit the international wires.

Story

Apparently, rumors are that this guy was fiddling around with the bomb at his hotel room and somehow screwed up, causing a minor explosion. He then fled, but was later apprehended at a nearby park, where an EOD team spend the better part of 4 hours dismantling whatever it was he had strapped around his waist.

Rumors are that another car was stopped outside the city, with 4 guys in it. Possibly explosives found there, too.

The police won´t confirm or deny anything, but it´s a bit telling that the general terror alert has been raised just an hour ago, without any official explanation.

Anyways, didn´t see a thread on this, so thought I´d give a heads-up. Perhaps some radical assholes decided they wanted to try an commemorate 9/11 in their own twisted way...
