But all groups, whether rich or poor, do tax evasion for one reason or another. It is not as one sided as you think.

An illegal cannot obtain a SS card or green card and is not permitted to work. Should an illegal apply for such they would probably be apprehended and deported. This of course does not stop an employer (thru various means) from hiring him/her thus being able to use unlawful wages and escape any laws,taxes or responibilities that might be involved. Industry wants illegals and is actually the biggest part of the problem.
