My God what a blatant conflict of interest. This is corruption in broad daylight yet no one is making a peep. We should all be prepared for higher cable and internet bills now. Even if you don't subscribe to Comcast, this will lead to higher bills for you. If you are a netflix user and comcast internet subscriber, your internet connection will be slower now because netflix is comcast's competitor. Also be prepared to have the information that you can receive on the internet blocked and/or filtered all together. This is absolutely outrageous and pretty much the definition of a kickback.

Man if the feds can't reign in crooked employees there's no chance they'll ever break up the monopoly that is Crummycast. This company has clearly discussed the job offer with Meredith "getpaidwell" Baker well in advance of her leaving the FCC. Shouldn't there be some ongoing investigations and leverage of penalties if not jail time? It wouldn't be mildly suggestive to say that her vote in favor of the Comcrap NBC buyout helped line her pocket in the form of a cushy 9 to 11am with her new soon to be bosses. Is there no such thing as integrity these days? Who is responsible for ensuring it and what exactly are the safeguards?
