Now some of you will say, “Silly Anthony, the Republic and its citizens have come too far for racism talk. African Americans, Latino Americans, Asian Americans, Jewish Americans, Italian and Irish Americans are all wrapped in the same blanket of equality." But of course, that statement is nothing more than a fairy tale that falls flat with even a 5 year old.
True, America has come a long way since setting people on fire, or participating in public lynching’s that everyone from the minister to an entire family would be in attendance with picnic baskets and displayed gleeful excitement of watching a man getting his genitals and ears hacked off or gutting a pregnant woman, then stomping the child as 20,000 people cheered. However, racism is alive and well and when more than 25% of Republicans, eh, Tea Party members believe that Mr. Obama is not a citizen; we should all be appalled and outraged. Intelligent Americans, however, have no interest or time for this racist perversion and shame on those Americans that cheered these "simpletons” of Trump, Limbaugh, and the "birther nation" that like a drug dealing pimp, have injected the public with this infectious and inferno disease of hate. Although, Chester A. Arthur and Martin Van Buren’s citizenship came under scrutiny, no modern day president of the United States has "ever" had to prove he was a citizen of the Republic--until now. To quote President Obama "We do not have time for this kind of silliness." “Progressives will bring balance to the Republic.” Anthony P. Johnson |
