Here in the US candidate Gingrich noted that 'the Palestinians are a made up people' so you can pretty much imagine the shrieks from the left and the Arabs about this one. CNN trotted out their usual terrorist apologists to whine about it. And so on...
Interestingly Arab academics and the PLO have said the same thing for years: http://daledamos.blogspot.com/2011/1...-were.html?m=1 and here: http://elderofziyon.blogspot.com/201...h-century.html and here: http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Ar...2#.TuYtInomCSp |

Gingrich is bang on! The media is still batting this one around the horn. Gingrich, although I admire him, was never my first choice but, now, he has shown me, he has more chutzpah and sense of ME history than any of the other contenders; needless to say, the current sad-sack president whose attempt to undermine Israel is blatant. Plus, Newt is a great debater.

all i say is thank god almighty for gingrich, and thanks be to god that this great and wise man has the courage now days to say the truth, even though
im not an american i have send a paypal echeque to his campaign for US$500, and ive written him a small message, thanking him for having the courage and conviction for saying the truth about these so called 'palestinians', he should have added during his speech, that if the 'palestinians' have such a long history as a people, who was their president before arafat? but i guess he didnt want to rub salt into their wounds too much, i guess he realised in the last second that he still might need the muslims oil money. But seriously this man has shown me there is still some hope left for humanity even in these times where the world and media have no morals, i really do hope he wins the republican nomination and beats o'bummer. |

ziggy, to be 100% true, i do think Mr gingrich believes what he says, and he obviously has read history and knows there is no palestine let alone a palestinian people, but to be
brutally honest i think he said it because he thinks the 'rich' jewish lobby in the US will support him, everyone, even newt has a secret agenda. but i still praise him x1000 times for saying the truth about how they are an invented people. by the way, isnt it that in the 1960's or 50's some 'palestinian' offical govt minister actually formally admitted that there were no palestinian people as such? |

i have send a paypal echeque to his campaign for US$500 Now a really good Polly can flip flop around and keep everyone happy by promises that are not made but believed to have been made. Obama is the master when it comes to that and he raises cash from all camps.
I personally would never donate to anything on the strength of words, but then I'm just an old cynic who has seen the climbers in action for what seems to be a lifetime. However, having said that, I admire the fact that you actually put your money where your mouth is. Nice one. |

remember palestine was a word invented by the ancient romans to use for the land of israel as a way of punished the jews for revolting after the destruction of the 2nd temple in around 70AD, and unfortunately for us, the romans succeeded in cursing our people with the foreign name 'palestine' for the land of israel/judaea, as its stuck to this day as a thorn in our side, and this invented foreign name has even conned some jews into believing its real and has always existed.
its a shame more rabbis in israel and outside dont bother speaking out and saying palestine was a name given by the ancient romans to punish the jews, maybe they can take a few hours away from studying the torah to maybe help their people by saying this publicly to the media, unless they have also been conned into believing palestine is 'real'. thank god jerusalem is still called this as the ancient romans had a new name for this city, i forgot what it was, at least that didnt stick. |

Canaan, Israel, Judea, Palestine, Cisjordan, the Holy Land? This land by any other name would be as f***ed up. Way too many people on both sides trying to prove the other side doesn't exist and has no right to anything. None of which changes anything on the ground.
Whether you call them "Palestinians" or "Arabs", they make up 40% of the population in the Land of Israel and aren't going away anymore than Israeli Jews are going to emigrate to their ghettos and mellahs. A way must be found for two peoples to share the land without killing each other. |

A way must be found for two peoples to share the land without killing each other A way must be found to make the other arab countries accept their brothers. Arabs dont want to share, they want the lot, so the have to go, the easy way or the hard way.
Why, in 60+ years has there never been a solution to the violence directed at the Jews from Palestinians? Because there isn't one. |
