The USA spares no time or effort to destroy iraq with an invasion, iran with sanctions and pakistan with drones but when muslim lives are at steak its the last in line to do anything! Even in libya it was france that did 90% of the work to keep crazy gaddafi from butchering libya's children. Now obama has the guts to claim it as his victory when its not. I agree that muslim nations are a mess but that is a result of hundreds of years of colonialism and post WW2 cold war politics.The USA could end the slaughter with one drone attack on Assad's palace but chooses not to, allowing assad to kill another 30.000!--Obama sends hundreds of drones out every day over afghanistan and pakistan and yemen and somalia but refuses to bomb assad even ones!

Syria isn't the same place as Libya. Syria has one of the best anti-aircraft systems in the world thanks to Russian supplied arms. Drones are expensive and would be shot down before they got anywhere near Damascus. If we wanted to go do something militarily, we would be in a worse war than Afghanistan. Syria's military isn't in the Stone Age, these are serious Russian-armed soldiers we're talking about.
