Default Senator Baker's notion of Comity
At a recent conference, Senator Baker stressed the need for the "comity" that he and others, like Senator Ed Muskie, enjoyed during many fierce policy debates throughout their long careers in U.S. Senator. Now, what do you all think about that? Is his notion of comity possible in our polarized political climate? I can think of many impediments, but how and what can he do to restore comity to the American political process?
