One thing you cant deny about Mr. Cain..He is putting solutions and plans on the table. Other than Pual , whose plans have been laid out for a decade or more, all the other candidates are keeping mum on anything that is substantial. Having the balls to put something out there this early knowing the scrutiny it would receive is a bonus in my book. Additionally i would like to see how blacks react to him. It would be funny to see him against obama. Obama cant pull the "roots" shit anymore now that he would be running against a guy who really did live it. I would like to add, in agreement as well as to elaborate on your comment about the other candidates "keeping mum on anything substantial," that the one thing that has ALWAYS deeply concerned me during the presidential campaigns is how the candidates tell you WHAT they're gonna do but don't lay anything down about HOW they plan to go about it. Apparently, voters tend to not notice that little slight-of-hand tactic and vote for someone who has all the right answers, but hasn't shown(or isn't willing to show) the work (to use a mathmatical metaphore). Consequently, when it comes to politicians and our government, the end result often times is not worth the means used to achieve it and we realize too late that, as voters, we should have insisted this work be shown BEFORE they received our votes. |
