A Germany-based Air Force staff sergeant who publicly questioned the U.S. citizenship of President Barack Obama and said he would not show up for work until Obama had produced an authentic birth certificate is being discharged, U.S. Air Forces in Europe officials said Wednesday. Air Force officials would not give a reason for his dismissal, or confirm whether it is related to any birther comments. Staff Sgt. Daryn Moran, an ophthalmology technician with the 86th Airlift Wing, “is currently outprocessing for discharge from the Air Force, which was previously approved by his commander on August 4th,” Air Force officials said Wednesday. In a separate story posted on the site last month, Moran claimed he was facing a medical discharge from the Air Force for failing to support the “don’t ask, don’t tell” repeal, which will allow gay and lesbian troops to serve openly in the military. A military medical board found, “he was unable to keep his personal opinions out of the office,” Moran said, according to the story. How do you get a medical discharge for disagreeing with DADT repeal? Okay so I don't know if he's surprised or not but if you don't show up for work, you're going to get in trouble. These "birthers" or whatever you want to call them are getting old. Especially when: Moran told AP he started doing research online about Obama after he was put on leave and after two airmen were killed in March in a shooting in Frankfurt, Germany. So until March he had no problem with the Pres and didn't research it until then? Riiight. |

I was just at LRMC yesterday for a VA appointment...if I was paying attention, I could've visited the office where this guy works, and ask WTF the real deal was. |
