Actually reading through it again I can kind of see where things may be coming from. It looks like the secular-themed concert got the short end of the stick and this advocacy group is calling the base out on it. Why was the secular-themed concert canceled? It wasn't explicitly stated as far as I can tell. I would think of it as a base commander's prerogative to cancel these types of events should overriding circumstances prevail. Like any news story we only really get the one side. I'm curious what the base commander's perspective would have been in this circumstance because I think that would be tellling.
