Actually, as the current state of the Republican Party has shown, ANY Republican candidate from the current pack will result in President Obama winning in November.

I really sympathize, because we Democrats have been there in the past, and that condition is indeed scary beyond belief.
They said the same thing about the Democrats in the 1992 election. SNL did a skit about the best known Dems drawing straws and the loser has to run against Bush Sr. We all know the results of that election. The phrase about the fat lady singing was first said about politics.

Having said that, from where I sit I tend to agree with you. In fact I currently doubt I will vote at all. I just don't agree with Obama's administration and can't fathom what would happen in another four years and just can't bring myself to vote for a single Republican running. It is not a good feeling.

I'm in the same boat you are. Thing is, even if both sides are unappealing, one will still be "better" than the other, even if only marginally so. I would HATE to vote for Obama again, however I am prepared to do so if Rick Santorum were to be nominated... having Santorum as president wouldn't be much different than electing Osama bin Laden. However, if Romney wins the nomination, I suppose its possible I could hold my nose long enough to vote for him.

Well, I don't know about Osama bin Laden but I do get your point.
