The suspect was described as in his 40s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and disheveled-looking. Barry said he was wearing a light green windbreaker, a light-colored shirt, light jeans, brown shoes and possibly a baseball cap.

A Lake County sheriff's official said the man was last seen traveling north on Cline Avenue toward Gary in a white or light gray Ford F-150 truck or an older model light blue Chevy pick-up truck.

Keep your eyes open.

It's funny how some networks/papers/reporters, refuse to mention race.

I saw a breaking news story once, where a gunman had robbed a fast food joint.....and exchanged gunfire with police....and was running through the neighborhood.

They mentioned his hat, his jacket, and his shoes........never mentioned race.

Yeah, I have noticed that too. They get so race sensitive in the media, that all a suspect has to do, is change his clothes to get away with the committed crime.
