I thought you were kidding at first - but I see now that you are a fucking idiot.
Stewart for political reporting? And it makes sense?

Mark was a bit more rational at awe........

Sock maybe?

Rush Limbaugh said "He makes us (conservatives) look like Looney Toons!"
I am truly sorry that you are in love with Colbert.

Mark, you're not stupid.

Think about what you just said.........

Don't fall into the group think. It limits your ability to see clearly.
I always try to keep an open mind, but I like Jon Stewart because of what he stands for. Sanity in Government is one of those things. I believe this sentiment cannot be found among the likes of Beck. Perhaps comparing the two people is like comparing apples and oranges, but if you want to know who I'd follow first, It'd be Stewart. Even though I agree with Beck on many things, he is irrational when it comes to religion. I knew this the day he literally tried to say Obama is the Antichrist. This is why I respect Stewart, because even though he is a comedian, even he is above these kind of radical views.

The second I reason I like Stewart, is because he believes that most of America is made up of Moderates, like myself. I also happen to agree with him on this 100%. Not only does he recognize our majority, he thinks we should be the ones in control, instead of the fringe 10-20% each time.

It's not that bad, watching his show is much less painstaking than a real relationship.

I always try to keep an open mind, but I like Jon Stewart because of what he stands for. He stands for sarcasm and humor. It's fine to like him as a comedian. That is what he is.

Sanity in Government is one of those things. Sanity in Government and Stewart have nothing in common. Don't mistake one for the other.

I believe this sentiment cannot be found among the likes of Beck. Well, beck isn't as 'funny' as Stewart.

Perhaps comparing the two people is like comparing apples and oranges, but if you want to know who I'd follow first, It'd be Stewart It is in a lot of ways. Stewart goes the comedy route. Beck goes another way. No one watches Beck, to be amused. He's just not that funny. Stewart is. I remember him from back when Comedy Central first came out. And he was funny then.

Even though I agree with Beck on many things, he is irrational when it comes to religion That's the big issue with Beck? He speaks the truth, but from a religious view point? Where as Stewart speaks what's 'funny', from a standpoint of comedy. See the difference? (imo)
I knew this the day he literally tried to say Obama is the Antichrist. This is why I respect Stewart, because even though he is a comedian, even he is above these kind of radical views. He'll spew radical views when his writers work it into something funny. He's an in character comedian.
The second I reason I like Stewart, is because he believes that most of America is made up of Moderates, like myself. I also happen to agree with him on this 100%. Not only does he recognize our majority, he thinks we should be the ones in control, instead of the fringe 10-20% each time. So you like Stewart because he thinks people that think like him should be in control? What one person calls a moderate, the next will call an extremist. I consider myself a moderate.....I'm sure stewart would call me a radical. Stewart calls himself a moderate, I call him a far left progressive.

Different strokes for different folks I guess.

I'll laugh with comedians, but I'll pass on following their views into the political field.

Cheers.

True, that everyone has their own opinion. What is a normal persons opinion, that's what's important.

A Conservative, Liberal, Democrat, Republican is not a "Normal" person based on statistics, so for you Normal is what everyone else is, and you are not.

Sanity in Government and Stewart have nothing in common. Don't mistake one for the other. He sure speaks about if awfully passionately to have nothing in common with it. He is pushing it pretty hard. Unless as you say, he's only joking.

No one watches Beck, to be amused. I beg to differ, I watch Glenn Beck not for information, but to see his wiley personality play out for an hour straight. I watch him for the same reason I listen to Micheal Savage, to remind myself that there are very crazy people in this world, and they would do very much to project their craziness unto others.

That's the big issue with Beck? He speaks the truth, but from a religious view point? No, when you call someone "The Antichrist", that has nothing to do with religious truth, that is just irrational, to actually accuse a living breathing person on this Earth to be an evil, supernatural being.

He'll spew radical views when his writers work it into something funny. He's an in character comedian. Didn't you just say

No one watches Beck, to be amused. He's just not that funny. ?

So you like Stewart because he thinks people that think like him should be in control? I like Stewart because he thinks people like me should be in control!

Beck is a snake oil salesman .. not so very different than Hal Lindsey.. Plays fast and loosse with facts and takes himself VERY seriously.

Colbert sticks to the facts and mocks the lack of critical thinking.

Colbert.. handsdown.

True, that everyone has their own opinion. What is a normal persons opinion, that's what's important. The rational man theory.....I'll bet you that Steward hates it.
A Conservative, Liberal, Democrat, Republican is not a "Normal" person based on statistics, so for you Normal is what everyone else is, and you are not. LOL!

He sure speaks about if awfully passionately to have nothing in common with it. He is pushing it pretty hard. Unless as you say, he's only joking. IMO, he's joking.

Well.....I suggest you watch something 'funny' to find your humor shows....there's better than beck.
No, when you call someone "The Antichrist", that has nothing to do with religious truth, that is just irrational, to actually accuse a living breathing person on this Earth to be an evil, supernatural being. Not really. Lots of jews say that about hitler.......are jews irrational?

Didn't you just say Yes, I'll stand by it too. Beck isn't a comedian. He's just not that damn funny. I don't think he could do stand up, and pull it off.
?
I like Stewart because he thinks people like me should be in control! No. His writers think that it is 'funny', to talk about people like you being in control. Again, imo.

We'll have to disagree mark.

Are you highly confused again?

Colbert is satire....and makes no bones about it.

Did you mean stewart?

A simple mistake.........if you never watch them, and don't live in the US.

Hey clown....comedians don't stand for anything. They are the talking heads that recite what their staff of 30 writers come up with for them to say- all of which is armchair quarterback drivel/commentary based on what's going on in the real world. A place you are evidently unfamiliar with.

Well.....I suggest you watch something 'funny' to find your humor shows....there's better than beck. I don't watch him so much for comedy, more for amusement and education. I consider him to be my adversary in some respects, and ally in others. For all that he is, I must admit, he is important.

That's part of the problem in this country. People take bull shit like what Colbert and Stewart say as the real news.
No wonder this nation's in the toilet.
