I am wondering if it was ever known what became of the Myrrh streaming Montreal Iveron Icon after Br Jose-Munoz was murdered. I read one source that said it disappeared after his murder---and another source that said it was not in his possession at the time of his murder. This seems to be shrouded in some mystery.

The icon was not with Br Jose at the time of his murder. Before leaving for Greece (where he was killed) he left the icon with trusted person (whose identity is not known) for safekeeping. Since his death, the icon has not been seen. Yes, there is a great deal of mystery.
