Default Salvation army pastor killed on Christmas day
Salvation Army Captain Shot And Killed In Front Of Children Dec. 24 2009

Regardless of your church affiliation, I hope you can pray for this pastor and his family whose lives will never be the same due to this senseless act of violence. How could someone be so selfish as to kill a pastor on Christmas eve in front of his children for church money meant for the poor? Whoever these people are need our prayers, as no one is beyond the forgiveness of God.

Indeed the inhumanity of man should never fail to bring us to mourn, even as it cannot surprise us. Man has already committed every stupidity and baseness and now he only repeats them. I am currently in Israel, where a father of 7 was shot by Palestinians under the Fatah wing of the PA, simply for being a Jew.

We must hope. The Lord will not withold good things from those who walk in innocence. The pastor and his family have my prayers-- as do those who will have to make answer before the dread judgment seat of the Crucified One for such acts. We must pray for their conversion of heart, as it will be hard on them should they continue to give place to the Evil One.

In Christ,
Evan

So sad. May our Lord have mercy on his soul and give comfort and strength to the poor children who had to witness this. Kyrie Eleison, Kyrie Eleison, Kyrie Eleison.

Nothing can possibly justify such act of violence, wether on Christmas Day or at any other time. May our Lord have mercy upon this man and his family and may He also forgive, if He pleases, he who commited such violence.
