God be with all of you.
As a Roman Catholic, I would be very interested in knowing whether there has yet been any reaction to Pope Benedict XVI's latest encyclical, Caritas in Veritate. Specifically, I am wondering if there has yet been (especially from the hierarchy) any response to the Pope's call to establish a worldwide financial governing authority... I have various reasons for asking this question...and please believe me, it's not a trap. As a Catholic convert coming from a long Protestant background, this leaves me a bit uh, concerned...let's say. As I said, I have not yet read the Encyclical. However, I am very interested in the response of the other Churches which I know possess valid Apostolic Orders and the Sacraments...having the Spirit of God. Thank you for your kindness, and God bless... |

It looks like a call for global government, along the lines of what the Davos conferences and other round table groups' discussions on international financial integration. I don't know what the Pope is trying to make of it, maybe "if it's going to happen, it needs to be ethical and just," or he is possibly propagandizing for this new financial order - there's a lot of weird political stuff that goes on behind the scenes, especially with the Vatican.
I haven't read any Orthodox hierarch's responses to it. |
