SHAH ALAM - An eight-year-old girl's trip to an Internet cafe became a nightmare when she was molested and forced to perform oral sex on the cafe's caretaker.

The girl had gone to the cyber cafe in Kota Kemuning with several friends last Wednesday when the caretaker, in his 30s, dragged her to the toilet to satisfy his lust.

Selangor deputy CID chief Asst Comm Rosli Mohd Isa said the premises was deserted except for the victim and her friends during the 5pm incident.

"The victim's friends, who are also about the same age, were helpless when she was forcefully dragged into the toilet," he said at the Selan*gor police headquarters yesterday.

However, ACP Rosli said the victim's family only lodged a police report five days after the incident.

"Police arrested the suspect within several hours of receiving the report," he added.

He added that the suspect had been remanded until Sept 3.
