Default Fined for using boss' ATM card
KUALA LUMPUR - A chauffeur was fined RM3,000(S$1,200) in default three months' jail by a magistrate's court here for making an unauthorised withdrawal of RM1,500 using his employer's automatic teller machine (ATM) card early this month.

Magistrate Siti Shakirah Moh-tarudin fined Roslan Said, 46, after he pleaded guilty to the charge on Thursday.

Roslan was accused of making the withdrawal by using the card belonging to Norlela Abas, 38, at Maybank Islamic at Jalan Rampai 5, Medan Niaga Rampai, Wangsa Maju, here at 4.28pm on Aug 4.

He was charged under Section 4(1) of the Computer Crime Act 1997, which provides for a RM50,000 fine or a maximum of five years' jail or both if convicted.
