Childhood snaps show Megan Fox aged 12 wearing braces and combing eyebrows with a toothbrush

Now the world knows where Megan Fox's Hollywood smile came from.The actress is seen here as a cute 12-year-old with a set of Ugly Betty-style train track braces on.In other snaps the youngster is pictured experimenting with make-up.

And while Fox may be able to afford the best cosmetics these days, back in the day she was a little more resourceful, using a toothbrush to comb her eyebrows.

Megan posted the pictures on her Facebook account, encouraging her fans to check her out.She wrote: 'Say hello to my 12 year old self.



Strike a pose: She also comments on her 'citrus/copper coloured highlights, writing: 'Thanks Sun-in'

'I encourage you to admire my citrus/copper colored highlights (thanks Sun-in!) my braces, and my ever present sunburn.'She goes on: 'And yeah I'm brushing my eyebrows with a toothbrush in that one picture.'Transformers star Megan, 26, is now in the throes of her first pregnancy with husband Brian Austin Green.The actress has still not officially confirmed the news - but her growing bump is doing all the talking.
